Catch-up Blog Entry (Christmas)...

For christmas I got some cute Mary Jane (?) shoes from my mama which are super cute (especially with  lacy socks)! I also got a mug from my Boyfriend's Auntie which was so cute, and it came with a little father christmas decoration and a ton of tiny marshmallows >.<

On a whole different note... I can get my hair to look like this!!! But unfortunately it doesn't last long (only like a couple of hours or something... God damnit!)

And on another note (again, because I've done quite a few things since I've last posted) I made this bag!! Hooray! And it was a success. I take it everywhere now as it holds all my essentials. It's really cute with lace and a pearl button and lilac and cream pattern fabric. I was really proud of myself for making this and I followed this tutorial and it was confusing at first. But that might be because I'm really silly and things don't go in well >.<. Obviously I've changed some features but it's basically the same.

Hope you enjoy!

Catch-up Blog Entry...

This is me trying make-up ages ago trying (note the word trying) to look cute but my roots are so god awful it hurts my eyes... Oh well, concentrating on the eyes now. I bought some fake eyelashes off eBay which look a lot like the eyelashes used in some gyaru make-up. These were okay, they were a bit heavy and I had to proper lift my eyes open to take these pictures... maybe I should have trimmed them or something. I got my hair cut into a bob-like thing, but it's still not really what I want. New hair cut soon methinks. I'm wearing my Geo Bambi Sesame Gray circle lenses! I love them so much! I now wear them everyday to uni and everybody comments! Haha. Anyway... my face:

I'm Back!

We finally have the internet again! Well... We've had it for about a week now and it feels so good, but I've been very lazy and not done any blogposts... Gommenasai! But I'm doing it now so it's okay.

Since Onee-chan kindly gave me her sewing machine I've been making so many cute things!! Include frilly socks which are so easy to do. But my main KIY I've done is a cute red riding hood cape. I'm so proud of it as it was my first major sewing project and I thought it turned out really well. I might put up a tutorial depending on whether people like it or not... (then again I might keep it secret and sell them on eBay... Muahahaha). Here are some pictures... Enjoy

KIY (Kawaii It Yourself)

Because I've been bored during the summer holidays I've been making lots of random stuff myself like the collars and things (if you haven't noticed). I got bored of saying "DIY" which to me sounds very manly and would involve some form of wood. I, personally, do not work with wood to make kawaii peter pan collars, key charms and small cute things. So I've decided to called it KIY. Doesn't really have the same ring to it... But I'm sure I can deal with it. Here are some more things I've made recently...

Made some cute cat ear in some hair clips
(No website, it was pretty easy to do myself, very finickity though)

Made a tiny Totoro from a template but halved the size
(also very finickity, but not as much)

And finally, I made a full size template Totoro!

Hope you like my cute creations! I'm happy with them.

More DIY...

As I said in one of my last posts, I attempted to make a felt peter pan collar following this tutorial. It turned out pretty well! The tutorial is really easy to follow so it wasn't difficult at all!

(Purikura!)

I also had a go at making a fox tail charm as they seem to be getting pretty popular and personally I find them really cute! I really couldn't be bothered to spend money on one so I just bought fabric and made one myself. Didn't need to follow a tutorial this time... It was one of the easiest things I've ever made.

(Purikura!... Again!)

Japanese Maid Cafe Love Love Onee-chan Day!

Today was the day I took my beautiful Onee-chan on her birthday present extravaganza! We arrived in London at around 11am and as our booking for the Maid Cafe wasn't until 1pm we decided to go to the V&A because we'd heard about a Lolita exhibit there. I got a bit lost, but the show was in the Japan area of the V&A (of course it was, how silly of me!) and although they only displayed a small amount of outfits, it was enough for us!

As Onee-chan studies archeology we went to the Medieval & Renaissance area as well where we saw lots of really cool stuff!

Japanese Maid Café London

We were both very excited (and I was very nervous) and going to this Maid Cafe because the place where it was held was some run down greek restaurant and it looked a bit dodgy... But sure enough, after some exploration, the maids were downstairs setting up the place and all speaking japanese and we started to have a massive spazz of excitement where I couldn't control my body movements. They were all so cute in their little maid outfits! My favourite waitresses were Rico and Mai, because they were the cutest. Rico played the keyboard and she took requests from the customers whilst Mai was the leader and lead the para para dancing and dressed in a cute fairy dress! They were all so cute! Here are some secret pictures when we were there (because we weren't allowed to take pictures T_T )...

(We got our hands stamped)

(We sat at the 'Death Note' table!)

(Me being weird and a vampire with snacks >.<)

(What the maid did to Onee-chan's food with ketchup! Kawaiiii!)

(The cute maids and their outfits! Secret pictures...)

All in all it was an extremely lovely day with Onee-chan! I hope she had a lovely time as she was very happy on the train back home, but we were both very sad we couldn't spend any more time with the lovely maid waitresses.
