New Home!

I haven't posted in a while due to the fact that I've been moving house and that we won't get internet for the next 40 days! I don't know how I'm going to survive! So far we're just amusing ourselves with instruments and Dave the fish and lots (and  I mean lots) of films. I quite liking living with friends, it's lots of fun and we always have a laugh. There will be more KIY coming up because Onee-chan has given me her old sewing machine! Which means I'll be hopefully beginning to make cute stuff, then possibly my own clothes and ultimately... MY OWN COSPLAYS! I'm definitely excited for that moment in time.

KIY (Kawaii It Yourself)

Because I've been bored during the summer holidays I've been making lots of random stuff myself like the collars and things (if you haven't noticed). I got bored of saying "DIY" which to me sounds very manly and would involve some form of wood. I, personally, do not work with wood to make kawaii peter pan collars, key charms and small cute things. So I've decided to called it KIY. Doesn't really have the same ring to it... But I'm sure I can deal with it. Here are some more things I've made recently...

Made some cute cat ear in some hair clips
(No website, it was pretty easy to do myself, very finickity though)

Made a tiny Totoro from a template but halved the size
(also very finickity, but not as much)

And finally, I made a full size template Totoro!

Hope you like my cute creations! I'm happy with them.

Spain

I've just come back from a wonderful sunny holiday in Javea in spain with my boyfriend and his family. I had a wonderful time full of spanishness and I visited the interesting, to say the least, site of Benidorm (it smelt like warm sewers). Here are some pictures...

Me at the beach...

Thank God for table football (I win so hard at this game)

Classic pose in a restaurant
I had a swordfish steak... I love swordfish

Will (My boyfriend's little brother) being "really cool"

Lightning in the sky

A random pretty view

I bought a t-shirt in Benidorm with this logo on it...
I didn't know what it meant I just thought it was really strange and hilarious. Turns out it comes from a comedy programme based around a fish restaurant... I think. Spanish wiki and google translate didn't really make sense. That's the trouble with buying foreign t-shirts... You never really know what they mean. At the airport on the way home one of the security people picked up on it, said a load of things and made an antennae gesture... I just smiled having no idea what just happened.
